This captivating photograph captures a young girl in mid-stride, her vibrant red dress creating a stunning contrast against a vast, dreamlike field of Texas Bluebonnets. Captured from a side-rear profile, the girl’s long, sun-kissed hair flows behind her, echoing her forward movement through the dense floral landscape.

Sandi and I drove over to Bandera to pick up her medical prescriptions at the pharmacy then went over to the hardware store to get some string for the weed eater. When we got out of the car we noticed Mr. Kelly Scott's truck and trailer parked in the lot. It was very interesting, so I walked over to take a look at the trailer with the wagon on it and saw a couple of saddles in the back of the truck. Well worn from long time use!

I spent a part of the afternoon chatting with Mr. Kelly Scott. He is well known for his long time work as a blacksmith, cowboy re-enactment participant, historian, and has also appeared in a number of motion pictures with such actors as Roy Rogers. Here he is pictured with one of his wagons (with some parts being 140 years old). I really enjoyed our conversation and was surprised to learn that we had a lot in common (both worked for the same company for over 30 years although in different job descriptions and locations).
